(Adnkronos) - "Una legge nazionale che dia più potere ai sindaci delle isole e delle zone costiere su questioni come gli accosti e l’invito alle compagnie di navigazione a “modulare e contingentare gli arrivi a Capri, invertendo l’ordine di arrivo dei tour turistici, in modo da incrociare i flussi ed evitare che arrivino i turisti allo stesso orario”. Lo dice all’Adnkronos il sindaco di Capri, Peppe Falco, in merito alle discussioni successive alla proposta di un gruppo di minoranza in Consiglio comunale, 'Capri ai Capresi', che in documento pubblico presentato a un convegno sull’overtourism ha proposto di dimezzare l’approdo di aliscafi e navi sull’isola: secondo un’ordinanza della Capitaneria di Porto di Napoli, datata 1999, attualmente in vigore, l’intervallo per gli approdi è di 10 minuti, l’idea è portare l’intervallo a 20 minuti. L’ultimo sabato sull’isola ha fatto registrare 31 mila sbarchi.
“Non è certo la nostra posizione, siamo totalmente contrari a una specie di numero chiuso a Capri”, chiarisce il sindaco. “Non posso però accettare 30mila persone al giorno, perché ho un ospedale che ne può gestire 15 mila così come i servizi pubblici, con tutto il rispetto non può decidere la Capitaneria di Napoli, o un assessore regionale sugli approdi, ci vuole una legge nazionale ad hoc che dia più potere ai sindaci su queste questioni, non abbiamo la possibilità di decidere nulla, se non in urgenza, come avvenuto recentemente quando abbiamo impedito gli sbarchi per il guasto idrico sull’isola”.
Il primo cittadino di Capri inoltre esorta le compagnie di navigazione a rivedere il programma dei tour turistici, così da spalmare l’orario di arrivo dei turisti a Capri. “Di solito gli approdi si verificano alle 9 del mattino, in arrivo dal Molo Beverello di Napoli. I turisti arrivano e ripartono insieme, l’ingorgo avviene dalle 10 alle 16, specie a Marina Grande e in piazzetta, si crea così l'ingorgo, un turismo selvaggio e gli stessi turisti non possono neppure godersi al meglio le bellezze della nostra isola”, conclude il sindaco.
