(Adnkronos) - "Abbiamo pensato di portare qui a Firenze in conferenza stampa a presentare il tour di Luka Hein perché è importantissimo che i ragazzi e i genitori ascoltino l'altra storia, la storia di questa ragazza che come tante ragazze ha vissuto un disagio, una sofferenza, un dolore e l'unica risposta che le è stata data per superare questo dolore è stato il cambio di sesso". Sono le parole di Maria Rachele Ruiu, portavoce di Pro Vita & Famiglia, intervenuta a Palazzo Vecchio a Firenze alla conferenza stampa organizzata da Pro Vita & Famiglia Onlus in collaborazione col gruppo consiliare di Fratelli d’Italia, per presentare il tour “Ingannata, perché nessuno è nato nel corpo sbagliato”, con cui l’associazione sta portando la testimonianza di Luka Hein, giovane americana che dopo un percorso di transizione ha scelto di tornare indietro denunciando pressioni dei medici che ne avrebbero influenzato la scelta.
"Noi veniamo qui per denunciare l'approccio affermativo, un approccio che porta sofferenza, che la scienza sta rivedendo e sta trattando come un approccio fallito - continua Ruiu- noi siamo qui a Firenze anche perché l'altro è l'approccio che è stato contestato nel caso dell'ospedale Careggi con un'interrogazione parlamentare di Maurizio Gasparri e ci hanno stupito un po' tutte le polemiche che si sono alzate prima di ascoltare questa storia che aggiunge qualcosa a quello che è il tema molto delicato della sofferenza degli adolescenti, ed è necessario come non mai ascoltare questa storia. Non capiamo perché non si voglia dare voce a Luka e a tutti i ragazzi e le ragazze che si sentono ingannate dall'approccio affermativo".
Secondo Pro Vita e Famiglia la storia di Luka non è un caso isolato, tutt'altro: "Sono tantissime le denunce che ci arrivano dai genitori che raccontano proprio questo, che di fronte alla sofferenza e le difficoltà dei bambini e dei ragazzi di fronte alla loro lecito dubbio di essere nati nel corpo sbagliato, l'unica risposta che hanno è quella di essere sbagliati. Bisogna invece indagare di più su quello che è la radice di questa sofferenza, gli adulti devono mettersi accanto a questi ragazzi e non proporre delle ricette che sono per tutte uguali e devastanti come medicalizzare a vita e menomale un corpo sano", ha concluso Ruiu.
