(Adnkronos) - Ferrarelle Società Benefit è stata per il tredicesimo anno consecutivo sponsor unico del Premio Malaparte uno dei più importanti riconoscimenti letterari italiani dedicato a personalità internazionali, tenutosi a Capri dal 4 al 6 ottobre; il Premio, istituito da Graziella Lonardi Buontempo nel 1983 per iniziativa di Alberto Moravia, è tornato a radunare a Capri personalità di spicco del mondo della cultura, tredici anni fa, grazie al supporto di Ferrarelle Società Benefit di sponsor unico, coerente con la sua missione di sostenere attivamente la cultura, l’eccellenza e la storia del nostro Paese.
La curatrice del Premio, Gabriella Buontempo, insieme alla giuria composta da Leonardo Colombati, Giordano Bruno Guerri, Giuseppe Merlino, Silvio Perrella, Emanuele Trevi e Marina Valensise, ha premiato ieri, domenica 6 ottobre, la vincitrice di quest’edizione: Rachel Cusk. L’autrice inglese è nota soprattutto per la sua trilogia, che comprende i romanzi Resoconto, Transiti e Onori, pubblicati tra 2018 e 2020 da Einaudi con traduzione di Anna Nadotti. Il fil rouge della raccolta è il viaggio: un viaggio che porta a nuove conoscenze, un viaggio morale e fisico e, infine, un viaggio che mostra diverse fasi della vita. Il Premio Malaparte segna un importante passo nel processo di crescita dell’autrice che ha iniziato a scrivere nel 1993 e vanta oggi una carriera letteraria variegata e prolifica, con la pubblicazione di nove romanzi, tre raccolte di saggi e un’opera teatrale.

Il Premio Malaparte è stato istituito su iniziativa di Graziella Lonardi Buontempo e Alberto Moravia e si è svolto dal 1983 al 1998. Grazie alla passione della nipote di Graziella, Gabriella Buontempo, e al sostegno costante di Ferrarelle Società Benefit, il Premio è tornato nel 2012, riconfermandosi come un appuntamento di spicco nel panorama culturale italiano.
