(Adnkronos) - (dall'inviata Elvira Terranova) - Il G7 Agricoltura di Siracusa accoglie l'ospite più giovane: Katharina Schobersberger e il suo bambino di 4 mesi. Un'importante sede internazionale come il G7 Agricoltura ha ospitato quest'anno non solo leader e rappresentanti dell'agricoltura, ma anche un ospite speciale: Johann, il figlio di appena quattro mesi di Katharina Schobersberger, vicepresidente del CEJA - Consiglio europeo dei giovani agricoltori. Katharina Schobersberger, ventiseienne austriaca, ha deciso di affrontare la sfida di partecipare al G7 dei giovani accompagnata dal suo bambino, rendendo Johann il più giovane ospite di questo importante vertice. "La città è molto bella e gli italiani sono stati molto disponibili con il bambino, molto cordiali", dice Katharina, che si è detta soddisfatta della sua prima esperienza in un contesto così importante e “spera che le azioni raccomandate dai giovani vengano messe in pratica”. “Ho già partecipato a una riunione in Ungheria, ma questo è il mio primo G7, ed è la situazione più internazionale che ho vissuto finora", spiega.
Schobersberger, agricoltrice, ricopre da oltre un anno la carica di vicepresidente del CEJA, che rappresenta i giovani agricoltori a livello europeo. "Abbiamo un mandato di due anni e sono molto felice di poter dare il mio contributo in questa posizione", afferma. La sua esperienza personale di vita rurale,allevamento suino e di studi agrari le permette di conoscere da vicino le sfide del settore.
Katharina sottolinea che l'agricoltura è un settore in piena trasformazione. "Siamo in una fase di transizione e dobbiamo lavorare per una produzione più sostenibile, ma senza dimenticare gli aspetti sociali ed economici", ha sottolineato. "Oggi abbiamo percepito l'importanza di non lasciare indietro nessuno in questa transizione. Dobbiamo garantire che il settore agricolo sia sostenibile ma anche competitivo, perché viviamo in un mondo globale. E come dimostrato anche dall’ottima cooperazione tra i giovani durante questi giorni, abbiamo bisogno di un’agricoltura inclusiva".
La giovane ha avuto modo di esplorare anche Siracusa e Divinazione Expo, la vetrina delle eccellenze italiane dedicata all'agroalimentare e non solo. "Passeggiando per la città, ho notato come l'attenzione fosse focalizzata sull'innovazione e sulla tecnologia. Ho visto macchinari e robot all'avanguardia", racconta entusiasta.
"La presenza di Katharina e del suo bambino Johann ha messo in luce come le sfide e le opportunità dell'agricoltura europea coinvolgano ogni generazione", dicono alcuni delegati.
