(Adnkronos) - Rendere ancora più accessibili e accoglienti i propri negozi, per tutte le persone: con questo obiettivo Ikea Italia introduce le 'Quiet Hours' (ore di quiete) all'interno dei suoi 22 punti vendita sul territorio nazionale e mette a disposizione dei visitatori una 'Stanza relax' accessibile in ogni momento, in cui poter fare una pausa e ritrovare tranquillità e serenità in caso di situazioni di sovraccarico sensoriale, in particolare per le persone con neurodivergenze. Dopo una fase pilota che ha interessato gli store del Lazio e della Lombardia, l'iniziativa è stata estesa a tutti i negozi italiani ed è stata realizzata proprio con il supporto delle due Angsa regionali (Associazione nazionale genitori persone con autismo) che, grazie alla loro preziosa consulenza sul campo, hanno reso possibile l'adozione delle misure necessarie all’implementazione del progetto.Â
“Vogliamo prenderci cura dei nostri clienti non solo attraverso le nostre proposte di arredo, ma anche migliorando l'esperienza di tutti coloro che visitano ogni giorno i nostri negozi, rendendo questi luoghi ancora più accessibili e dove sentirsi come 'a casa'", sottolinea Cristina Broch, direttore Comunicazione e relazioni istituzionali di Ikea Italia. Â
In ognuno dei 22 negozi Ikea - si legge in una nota - le 'Quiet Hours' saranno attive ogni mercoledì nelle 3 ore che precedono la chiusura degli store: in questa finestra temporale saranno adottati accorgimenti finalizzati a ridurre le sollecitazioni sonore per permettere, a chi è particolarmente sensibile ai rumori e agli stimoli uditivi, come chi ha una neurodivergenza, di sperimentare un ambiente sereno. Infatti, nel giorno e nella fascia oraria indicati, i negozi interverranno sull'eliminazione di musica e annunci vocali, così come su quella di mezzi meccanici che possano essere di disturbo. Il retailer è anche il primo, in Italia, ad ospitare le Stanze relax, ovvero spazi allestiti ad hoc per accogliere anche le persone con neurodivergenze durante la loro visita in negozio. Posizionate al piano terra dei punti vendita vicino all'ingresso, queste stanze saranno a disposizione dei visitatori in ogni momento della giornata, arredate appositamente per garantire una permanenza in tutta sicurezza grazie all’adozione di accorgimenti specifici. Nell'orario dedicato alle Quiet Hours, anche all'interno di queste stanze saranno eliminati gli annunci vocali e la musica.Â
