(Adnkronos) - “La realizzazione del piano nazionale sull'idrogeno prevede tutta una serie di azioni, di elettrolizzatori, di interventi e nel contempo c'è una valutazione più ampia che ci ha visti firmare un accordo con la Germania e l'Austria per essere anche un hub, un luogo di trasferimento verso il continente di una produzione di idrogeno”. Lo ha dichiarato Gilberto Pichetto Fratin, ministro dell'Ambiente e della Sicurezza Energetica intervenuto al Venice Hydrogen Forum 2024 The Mediterranean Forum on Hydrogen il convegno internazionale organizzato a Venezia dal Green Hydrogen Organization in collaborazione con la Fondazione Venezia Sostenibile.
“La produzione - ha spiegato il ministro - può avvenire nel nostro paese oppure può avvenire in Nord Africa, quindi chiaramente viene in Italia a sud del Mediterraneo e noi stiamo costruendo una linea nazionale, la cosiddetta Adriatica, che porta verso il nord, e a quel punto c'è il luogo di smistamento verso la Germania”.
Molto si è discusso sullo stato dell'arte della tecnologia idrogeno, dal trasporto, alla domanda. “In questo momento l'idrogeno è in una fase di sviluppo tecnologico degli applicativi per la sua produzione, di inizio di diffusione e sul suo sistema dell'utilizzo - ha concluso Pichetto Fratin - ma non ha ancora l'equilibrio di essere la grande energia di mercato, anche se è la molecola più diffusa nel mondo.”
“Non ci saranno più le grandi centrali nucleari, quelle centrali nucleari di prima e seconda generazione è come se noi volessimo correre Monza con le auto dell'inizio del secolo scorso. Il futuro di un paese come l'Italia, che è il futuro dei paesi sviluppati, G7, G20 - ha detto il ministro - che vede un'esplosione dei consumi di energia, che secondo tutti gli analisti è destinata a raddoppiare al 2050, deve percorrere tutte le strade per la produzione dell'energia, rispettando l'emissione zero al 2050. E' chiaro che questo uso di energia deve avere tanto dalle rinnovabili, ci aggiungo l'idrogeno, di importazione oltre che di produzione, ma un'energia pulita senza emissione è l'energia nucleare. Parlo di fissione di terza generazione e di quarta generazione, parlo di piccoli reattori”.
“Quando la politica vuole fissare la tecnologia, come ha fatto l'Unione Europea 5 anni fa - ha affermato Pichetto Fratin - o è composta da dei maghi, e allora non farebbero i politici, farebbero i maghi, o altrimenti è un fallimento, come è stato un fallimento l'Unione Sovietica quando facevano la pianificazione di cosa avrebbe prodotto il paese 10 anni dopo”.
“Nel 2019 l'Unione Europea ha detto che al 2035 dovevano esserci solo motori elettrici, ha detto un'idiozia, ha fatto un provvedimento che è un'idiozia, uso questo termine; mi sono occupato di automobili tutta la vita e dico che sono convinto che al 2035 il motore elettrico sarà il motore principale, perché ha 7 volte pezzi in meno, è più facile da fare, ma quando dico principale avrà il 50, il 60, il 70% del mercato, non è logico che la politica fissi il vincolo alla tecnologia che il ricercatore, l'esperto, lo scienziato mi dà”.
