(Adnkronos) - Saranno consegnati giovedì 10 ottobre, al Senato, presso la sala Zuccari di palazzo Giustiniani, i premi “Guido Dorso” promossi dall’omonima associazione presieduta da Nicola Squitieri e giunti quest’anno alla 45°edizione. L'iniziativa - intitolata al meridionalista irpino - è patrocinata dal Senato della Repubblica, dal Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche e dall'Università di Napoli "Federico II" e segnala, dal 1970, contestualmente giovani studiosi del nostro Mezzogiorno e personalità del mondo istituzionale, economico, scientifico e culturale che hanno contribuito con la loro attività a sostenere le esigenze di sviluppo e di progresso del Sud.
“Anche i riconoscimenti assegnati per questa 45ma edizione - ha spiegato Nicola Squitieri - intendono proporre una diversa narrazione del Sud documentando quanto viene realizzato in tutti i settori in un’ottica di sviluppo del territorio meridionale che si candida ad essere sempre più un ponte tra Europa, Mediterraneo e Africa”,
“Anche quest’anno - ha dichiarato Francesco Saverio Coppola, segretario generale dell’associazione Dorso - nel confermare le attività di promozione e di ricerca dell’Associazione, siamo stati sempre più impegnati a fare squadra con altre istituzioni meridionaliste per dare vita ad un progetto credibile aperto alla cultura, alla formazione, all’innovazione da destinare soprattutto alle nuove generazioni meridionali”.
Destinatari della 45° edizione per le sezioni speciali sono quest’anno: Matteo Piantedosi, ministro dell’Interno (istituzioni); Cristina Trombetti, presidente Istituto nazionale di alta Matematica (università); Luigi La Rocca, direttore generale archeologia, belle arti e paesaggio del ministero della Cultura (cultura); Giuseppe Gigli, direttore Istituto Nanotecnologie del CNR di Lecce (ricerca); Amedeo Lepore, professore di storia dell’economia dell’università “Luigi Vanvitelli”(economia); Giuseppe Marra, presidente gruppo GMC Adnkronos (editoria); Filippo Callipo, presidente Giacinto Callipo conserve alimentari spa di Vibo Valentia (imprenditoria privata); Mimma Lapolla, presidente cooperativa sociale “Il cerchio magico” di Venosa (terzo settore); Marco Giannone – Università degli studi di Palermo - tesi di laurea magistrale “Un’analisi del divario Nord-Sud attraverso il modello istituzionale” (sezione ordinaria). La targa di rappresentanza del Presidente della Repubblica destinata alla 45°edizione del Premio Dorso è stata assegnata alla Fondazione Circolo Artistico Politecnico di Napoli presieduta da Adriano Gaito.
I riconoscimenti per la sezione internazionale sempre della 45ma edizione del Premio Dorso, dedicata al Mediterraneo, sono stati consegnati a luglio, a Napoli, alla Comunità di Sant’Egidio e al prof. Salvatore Capasso, direttore del dipartimento di scienze umane e sociali del Cnr. La commissione giudicatrice è composta da Andrea Amatucci, presidente del comitato scientifico dell'associazione Dorso; Raffaele Fitto, ministro per il Sud e la coesione territoriale; Orazio Abbamonte, presidente della Fondazione Banco di Napoli; Maria Chiara Carrozza, presidente del Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche; Matteo Lorito, rettore dell’Università di Napoli “Federico II”; Nicola Squitieri, presidente dell'associazione Dorso; segretario Francesco Saverio Coppola, segretario generale dell’Associazione Dorso. Nell'albo d'onore dei vincitori del Dorso figurano alcuni tra i più autorevoli esponenti del mondo delle istituzioni, della ricerca, dell'economia e della cultura: da Giovanni Leone a Giorgio Napolitano; da Renato Dulbecco a Franco Modigliani; da Antonio Marzano a Pietro Grasso; da Pasquale Saraceno a Francesco Paolo Casavola; da Gabriele Pescatore a Dominick Salvatore; da Francesco Rosi a Riccardo Muti. Il premio Dorso consiste in un'artistica opera in bronzo creata, in esclusiva, dallo scultore Giuseppe Pirozzi. L’evento sarà trasmesso sui siti web del Senato e dell’Associazione Dorso.
