(Adnkronos) - Sanpellegrino celebra il World Tourism Day, ricorrenza che - si ricorda in una nota - "sottolinea come il turismo sia un motore fondamentale per i Paesi di tutto il mondo per valorizzare e preservare il loro patrimonio culturale, naturale ed enogastronomico e creare nuovi posti di lavoro rafforzando le economie locali. In Italia questo settore rappresenta un asset strategico della nostra economia con una ricaduta significativa sul PIL e sull'occupazione. Nel 2023 nel nostro Paese sono state registrate 851 milioni di presenze che hanno generato un impatto economico sui territori di oltre 84 miliardi di euro". Il gruppo ricorda come da 125 anni Sanpellegrino veicola attraverso i suoi prodotti i valori dell’italianitĂ nel mondo contribuendo a fare da volano per il turismo nel nostro Paese. Secondo lo studio “Sanpellegrino crea valore per l’Italia”, realizzato da Althesys Strategic Consultants, nel 2023 il Gruppo ha contribuito alla crescita del nostro Paese con 2,54 miliardi di euro di valore economico condiviso lungo la filiera, pari allo 0,12% del PIL nazionale e a quasi 2,2 volte il fatturato di gruppo e al 2% della produzione dell’industria alimentare italiana.Â
Anche il progetto della 'Factory of the Future' - affidato all’archistar danese Bjarke Ingels, con l’obiettivo di trasformare lo storico stabilimento di San Pellegrino Terme nel biglietto da visita del Gruppo - ha una forte valenza turistica perchĂ© consentirĂ di promuovere il territorio d’origine dell’acqua minerale S.Pellegrino apprezzata in tutto il mondo. L’iniziativa si propone, infatti, di sostenere il business dell’azienda nei prossimi anni e di trasformare il sito produttivo per accogliere visitatori da tutto il mondo, contribuendo a rendere la Valle Brembana piĂą attrattiva dal punto di vista turistico.Â
