(Adnkronos) - Pensa di assistere allo spettacolo dell'aurora boreale, ma rimane delusa quando scopre che si tratta delle luci di una vicina fabbrica di pomodori. E' accaduto a Dee Harrison, 56 anni, di Ipswich, nella contea inglese del Suffolk.
La donna ha caricato sui social le immagini con il bagliore rosa e rosso del cielo rosso sopra la città di Bramford,scatenando l'interesse di centinaia di persone, con molti che lodavano gli scatti "impressionanti", ma non tutto era come sembrava.
"Erano le 05:15 circa, stavo guidando lungo Paper Mill Lane e ho visto che alla mia sinistra il cielo era rosso. All'inizio ho pensato che stesse andando a fuoco qualcosa, ma quando ho parcheggiato ho potuto vedere questo cielo rosa intenso, che sembrava ancora più luminoso attraverso la fotocamera del mio telefono, così ho pensato che fosse un'aurora" ha raccontato a Bbc.
Il “bellissimo” bagliore - visto mercoledì mattina presto - in realtà proveniva dalle luci a Led della fabbrica Suffolk Sweet Tomatoes, che vengono utilizzate per incoraggiare la crescita dei pomodori. "Sono rimasto un po’ delusa", ha detto sconsolata la donna.
