(Adnkronos) - La Corea del Nord ha inviato altre 1.500 truppe in Russia. A ritenerlo è l'intelligence sudcoreana. Come riporta l'agenzia sudcoreana Yonhap, si ritiene siano circa 3.000 i soldati nordcoreani trasferiti in Russia per sostenere la campagna militare russa in Ucraina e si prevede che entro dicembre saranno circa 10.000 le unità dispiegate. Si tratta di informazioni che sono state condivise dall'intelligence sudcoreana con i deputati durante un incontro a porte chiuse della Comitato parlamentare per la sicurezza.Â

La Russia sta aiutando Pyongyang a eludere le sanzioni e a sviluppare le sue capacità nucleari in cambio di truppe e missili nordcoreani. Lo ha dichiarato il capo dell'intelligence militare ucraina Kyrylo Budanov al quotidiano The Economist. Budanov aveva precedentemente rivelato che circa 11.000 soldati nordcoreani si trovano già in Russia e saranno pronti a combattere entro il 1° novembre, decisione che segnerebbe un rafforzamento della cooperazione militare tra Mosca e Pyongyang, con la Corea del Nord che fornisce già alla Russia proiettili di artiglieria e missili balistici per la guerra contro l'Ucraina.Â
Il sostegno della Russia alle capacità nucleari include la fornitura di tecnologie per armi nucleari tattiche più piccole e sistemi di lancio di missili sottomarini, ha affermato Budanov. L'evasione delle sanzioni può anche essere vitale per la Corea del Nord, che affronta pesanti restrizioni economiche al suo programma nucleare. La Russia ha bloccato il rinnovo di un programma di monitoraggio delle Nazioni Unite che supervisiona lo sviluppo di missili balistici e nucleari di Pyongyang.Â

Gli attacchi russi in Ucraina hanno causato la morte di almeno cinque persone e il ferimento di almeno 14 nell'ultimo giorno. Lo hanno riferito le autorità regionali ucraine, aggiungendo che le difese aeree di Kiev hanno abbattuto 57 degli 81 droni Shahed lanciati durante la notte. La Russia avrebbe anche attaccato Odessa con un missile Kh-31P. Al momento non sono stati segnalati danni o vittime.Â
