(Adnkronos) - L'Iran ha usato il nuovo missile ipersonico Fattah nell'attacco contro Israele oggi, 1 ottobre 2024. Il missile ipersonico, battezzato con un nome che si può tradurre con 'conquistatore' o 'vincitore', è stato sviluppato dai Pasdaran e svelato a giugno 2023. Secondo Teheran, il missile si distingue per la velocità abbinata alla manovrabilità : tali caratteristiche consentirebbero di evitare i sistemi di difesa aerea. I missili Fattah sono predisposti per essere armati con testate nucleari se Teheran dovesse proseguire lo sviluppo del proprio programma atomico.Â
Il primo annuncio relativo alla produzione del missile Fattah risale al 10 novembre 2022, nel giorno dell'undicesimo anniversario della morte di Hassan Tehrani Moghaddam, il 'padre' del programma missilistico irianiano. Quando il missile è stato svelato, 15 mesi fa, i vertici dei Pasdaran hanno esaltato le caratteristiche dell'arma, "capace di bucare tutti i sistemi di difesa anti-missile".Â
