(Adnkronos) - Un deputato iraniano e membro della Commissione per la Sicurezza nazionale e la Politica estera del Majlis, Ahmad Bakhshayesh Ardestani, ha lasciato intendere che un cercapersone, simile a quelli usati per colpire Hezbollah in Libano, potrebbe essere esploso all'interno dell'elicottero sul quale viaggiava a maggio l'ex presidente iraniano Ebrahim Raisi, facendolo schiantare.Â
"Uno scenario probabile riguardo l'incidente in elicottero in cui è morto il presidente iraniano Ebrahim Raisi è l'esplosione del suo cercapersone", ha detto Ardestani, citato dai media iraniani. "Raisi utilizzava un cercapersone, sebbene il suo modello potrebbe essere diverso da quelli in possesso dei militanti di Hezbollah", ha precisato il deputato, sottolineando come la Repubblica islamica potrebbe aver un ruolo nell'acquisto dei cercapersone. "(Le forze iraniane, ndr) hanno sicuramente avuto un ruolo nell'acquisto dei cercapersone di Hezbollah e, pertanto, anche le nostre agenzie di intelligence devono indagare su questa questione", ha spiegato.Â
La teoria dell'esplosione del 'pager' ha iniziato a circolare la scorsa settimana dopo che è diventata virale una foto che mostrava Raisi con vicino un cercapersone appoggiato su un tavolino. Secondo, tuttavia, l'indagine conclusa dal governo iraniano, a causare l'incidente dell'elicottero sono state le condizioni meteorologiche avverse e la fitta nebbia.
