(Adnkronos) - E' sopravvissuta al massacro compiuto da Hamas il 7 ottobre al festival musicale Nova, in Israele, ma non ai traumi di quell'aggressione. Così Shirel Golan, 22 anni, ha deciso di suicidarsi nel giorno del suo 22esimo compleanno.Â
La giovane, secondo quanto riportano i media israeliani, dallo scorso anno lottava contro il disturbo da stress post-traumatico. Domenica, avrebbe dovuto trascorrere la giornata festeggiando il suo compleanno con la sua famiglia. Invece, è stata trovata senza vita nella sua casa nella comunità di Porat, vicino a Netanya, con accanto il telefono pieno di auguri senza risposta da parte degli amici.Â
La sua morte ha scatenato la furiosa denuncia del fratello, Eyal, che ha accusato lo Stato di non averle offerto l'aiuto necessario per i problemi emotivi e mentali successivi al massacro del 7 ottobre. "Se lo Stato si fosse preso cura di lei, niente di tutto questo sarebbe successo", ha detto, secondo quanto riportato dai media ebraici. "Lo Stato di Israele ha ucciso mia sorella due volte. Una volta a ottobre, mentalmente, e una seconda volta oggi, nel giorno del suo 22° compleanno, fisicamente".Â
Golan e il suo compagno Adi erano tra le migliaia di partecipanti alla festa che riuscirono a fuggire dal rave all'aperto di Nova mentre i terroristi guidati da Hamas cominciavano a massacrare i partecipanti.Â
Inizialmente sono riusciti a raggiungere un veicolo e hanno cercato di uscire dalla zona, ma hanno abbandonato l'auto quando è diventato chiaro che non potevano scappare. La coppia si è nascosta sotto un cespuglio per ore finché non sono stati trovati dall'agente di polizia Remo Salman El-Hozayel, che aveva requisito un veicolo per salvare i partecipanti alla festa, salvando alla fine circa 200 persone secondo i resoconti dei media. Mentre si nascondevano, i due hanno evitato per un pelo di salire su un'altra auto i cui occupanti sono stati tutti uccisi o rapiti dai terroristi di Hamas mentre cercavano di mettersi in salvo, aveva raccontato Golan all'emittente pubblica Kan a novembre.Â
Nelle settimane e nei mesi successivi all'aggressione, la 22enne ha iniziato a sviluppare sintomi di PTSD (disturbo da stress post traumatico), tra cui dissociazione e ritiro, ed è stata ricoverata in ospedale due volte, ma non è mai stata riconosciuta come affetta da PTSD, ha affermato la sua famiglia.Â
Secondo le autorità , 364 persone presenti al festival di musica e danza all'aperto vicino al Kibbutz Re'im, nel sud di Israele, sono state massacrate e molte di loro hanno subito altre atrocità , tra cui stupri di gruppo e mutilazioni delle vittime. Decine di altri partecipanti al festival sono stati rapiti e trascinati a Gaza.Â
