(Adnkronos) - Accuse di stupri e abusi sessuali sono state rivolte a Mohamed Al Fayed, l'ex proprietario di Harrods scomparso lo scorso anno a 94 anni, da una ventina di donne intervistate per un documentario della Bbc. Sono cinque le donne che hanno parlato di stupro ed almeno altre 15 hanno denunciato abusi sessuali da parte del miliardario egiziano, padre di Dodi morto insieme a Lady Diana nell'incidente sotto il Ponte dell'Alma a Parigi nell'agosto del 1997. Â
Le donne, tutte ex dipendente del grande magazzino londinese che, intervistate per un documentario della Bbc, hanno detto di essere state aggredite dal miliardario e che poi Harrods ha insabbiato gli abusi. L'attuale proprietario di Harrods, che Fayed ha venduto nel 2010, si è detto "sconvolto" da queste accuse ed ha presentato le sue scuse alle vittime degli abusi. Â
Le accuse di molestie sessuali a Fayed non sono una novità . Nel 2009 il Crown Prosecution Service decise di non incriminarlo dopo essere stato accusato di aver aggredito sessualmente una ragazza di 15 anni nei grandi magazzini. Ed ancora nel 2013 fu interrogato dalla polizia dopo che una donna l'aveva accusato di averla aggredita dopo un colloquio di lavoro nell'appartamento del miliardario. Nel 2015 la polizia riaprì l'inchiesta ma non arrivò a nulla.Â
Nel documentario, intitolato "Al Fayed: Predator at Harrods", le donne hanno raccontato nei dettagli gli abusi, ed alcune si sono fatte intervistate. I fatti denunciati si sarebbero svolti non solo a Londra, ma anche a Parigi, Saint-Tropez e Abu Dhabi. Una delle donne ha raccontato alla Bbc di essere stata violentata, quando era una teenager, da Fayed nel suo appartamento a Park Lane: "era un mostro, un predatore sessuale, senza nessuna moralità ", ha detto. Â
Altre tre donne hanno denunciato di essere state violentate nell'appartamento del miliardario. Ed una quinta, identificata come Gemma, ha detto in un'intervista, che Fayed l'ha violentata nel suo appartamento a Parigi e poi l'ha costretta a lavarsi con il disinfettante, "ovviamente per cancellare ogni traccia". Le donne hanno spiegato di aver deciso di farsi avanti dopo aver visto il ritratto positivo fatto di Fayed nella serie di Netflix "The Crown". Â
