(Adnkronos) - E' "illusorio" immaginarsi una sconfitta della Russia in Ucraina. Lo ha affermato Vladimir Putin, prima di incontrare il Segretario generale dell'Onu, Antonio Guterres, questa sera a Kazan, dopo la chiusura del vertice Brics +. Gli Occidentali "non nascondono il loro obiettivo di infliggere una sconfitta strategica al nostro Paese". Si tratta di "calcoli illusori che possono fare solo coloro che non conoscono la storia della Russia e non tengono conto della sua unità forgiata nei secoli", ha spiegato. "L'intero Medio Oriente - di cui Putin parlerà con Guterres insieme all'Ucraina, ndr - è al confine di una guerra totale", ha inoltre denunciato. Â
 L'incontro sarà il primo in Russia da quello dell'aprile 2022 dopo l'inizio dell'offensiva in Ucraina. Â

I deputati della Duma russa hanno intanto approvato all'unanimità oggi il 'trattato sul partenariato strategico globale' con la Corea del Nord che prevede "assistenza reciproca" nel caso dell'aggressione a una delle due parti. Il trattato era stato firmato il 19 giugno nel corso della visita del presidente russo Vladimir Putin a Pyongyang.Â
La Corea del Sud torna intanto a parlare delle truppe nordcoreane dispiegate in Russia, sottolineando che Seul non intende "rimanere a guardare passivamente" il Nord inviare militari sul fronte ucraino, al fianco delle forze russe. "Alla fine diventerà una minaccia alla nostra sicurezza", ha affermato in una audizione in Parlamento il ministro degli Esteri Cho Tae Yul, scrive l'agenzia Yonhap. Â
"Consideriamo tutte le opzioni", ha aggiunto, rispondendo alla domanda di un deputato che aveva chiesto se il governo considerava l'invio di armi all'Ucraina, dopo la conferma, da parte dell'intelligence sudcoreana, dell'invio di 3mila soldati nordcoreani in Russia per ricevere addestramento in vista del dispiegamento al fronte ucraino. L'invio di militari nordcoreani in Ucraina "non ci sarebbe stato se Mosca non avesse promesso qualcosa in cambio", ha denunciato il ministro.Â
Il dispiegamento è stato definito "una provocazione che minaccia la sicurezza globale", dal presidente sudcoreano Yoon Suk Yeol. "Condanniamo - ha detto Yoon come riporta l'agenzia sudcoreana Yonhap - le provocazioni da parte della Corea del Nord e la cooperazione militare illegale con la Russia", Â
