(Adnkronos) - La presidente del Consiglio, Giorgia Meloni, è atterrata a New York per prendere parte ai lavori della 79esima Assemblea generale delle Nazioni Unite. Ad accoglierla, all’aeroporto internazionale JFK, il rappresentante permanente d’Italia presso le Nazioni Unite, Maurizio Massari, e l’ambasciatrice d’Italia negli States, Mariangela Zappia.Â
L'appuntamento più importante nell'agenda newyorkese dei prossimi giorni è l'intervento al dibattito di 'Alto Livello' in cui, nella serata di martedì (19.30 ore locali), la presidente del Consiglio tornerà a parlare anche dell'emergenza migranti, come fece con forza un anno fa, quando esortò le Nazioni Unite a 'non lavarsi le mani' di fronte allo 'scempio' che si consumava nei nostri mari.Â
