(Adnkronos) - Nell'ultima settimana sono stati registrati in Italia 9.670 nuovi contagi Covid, in calo del 25% circa rispetto ai 12.876 della settimana precedente. I decessi sono passati invece da 75 a 97, in aumento di circa il 30%. Con questi numeri si 'riscaldano i motori' della campagna vaccinale anti-Covid, che partirà in contemporanea con quella antinfluenzale i primi ottobre. Ma chi dovrà fare il vaccino e quando? E chi ha avuto la malattia da Sars-CoV-2 in estate - quando c'è stato un rialzo dei casi - quando deve fare il vaccino? Â
Alla prima domanda ha risposto la circolare del ministero della Salute con le indicazioni per la campagna vaccinale. I pilastri sono la raccomandazione per alcune categorie e l'offerta gratuita comunque per chi vuole fare la dose dei vaccini adattati alla variante JN.1. Alla seconda domanda risponde Roberta Siliquini, presidente della Società italiana di igiene e medicina preventiva e sanità pubblica (Siti). "Per chi ha avuto la malattia Covid in estate e rientra nelle categorie per cui il ministero ha indicato la raccomandazione, le linee guida dell'Oms e della Siti ci dicono che è opportuno fare la dose di richiamo dopo 3 mesi dalla positività al Covid. Quindi - chiarisce all'Adnkronos Salute - chi ha fatto la malattia a luglio-agosto può fare il vaccino, aggiornato all'ultima variante, a novembre". Â
Il vaccino è quindi raccomandato alle "persone con età superiore a 60 anni; ospiti delle strutture per lungodegenti; donne che si trovano in qualsiasi trimestre della gravidanza o nel periodo post-partum, comprese le donne in allattamento; operatori sanitari e sociosanitari addetti all'assistenza negli ospedali, nel territorio e nelle strutture di lungodegenza; studenti di medicina, delle professioni sanitarie che effettuano tirocini in strutture assistenziali e tutto il personale sanitario e sociosanitario in formazione; persone dai 6 mesi ai 59 anni di età compresi con elevata fragilità , in quanto affette da patologie o con condizioni che aumentano il rischio di Covid-19 grave".Â
"Dobbiamo ricordare - sottolinea Siliquini - che il vaccino non è lo stesso della campagna 2023-2024, ma è aggiornato alla variante JN.1. Quindi non può esserci la scusa 'ma ho fatto la dose lo scorso anno': chi è nelle categorie per cui è raccomandato, è bene che faccia il richiamo da ottobre". Si può fare il vaccino anti-Covid insieme all'antinfluenzale? Sì, anzi è consigliato dagli esperti e infatti la circolare Covid chiarisce che è "possibile la co-somministrazione dei nuovi vaccini aggiornati con altri vaccini (con particolare riferimento al vaccino antinfluenzale), fatte salve eventuali specifiche indicazioni d'uso o valutazioni cliniche".
