Questo significa anche poter unire le competenze della modernità " per rispondere meglio alle "necessità delle varie malattie. Stiamo lavorando a stretto contatto con l'Authority nazionale per l'intelligenza artificiale, che avrà proprio sede a Torino, per la presa in carico delle cronicità con il sostegno dell'Ai". Così l'assessore alla Sanità di Regione Piemonte, Federico Riboldi, nel suo intervento da remoto alla prima edizione del convegno 'Sla: metabolismo e nutrizione. Nuove frontiere nella presa in carico', in corso all'Università di Scienze gastronomiche di Pollenzo (Cuneo). L'evento, promosso dall'alleanza tra Centri clinici Nemo, Associazione italiana sclerosi alterale amiotrofica (Aisla) e SLAfood, sotto l'egida di Slow Food, ha l'obiettivo di ridefinire il ruolo di un intervento nutrizionale mirato nella presa in carico delle persone con sclerosi laterale amiotrofica (Sla) per migliorare il decorso e la qualità di vita dei pazienti.Â
Si tratta di cambiare "completamente il paradigma dell'approfondimento e del tipo di presa in carico delle cronicità - continua Riboldi - aggiungendo tutto ciò che può fornire l'intelligenza artificiale a livello di inserimento di dati, di nuove conoscenze, di sostegno a una declinazione migliore delle modalità e dei tempi delle cure. Siamo la prima Regione italiana e una delle prime europee a lavorare in questa direzione. Non abbiamo l'ambizione con ciò di risolvere ogni tipo di problema, ma riteniamo che ogni tipologia e ogni apporto tecnologico possa essere importante per il fine ultimo - conclude - di migliorare la qualità della vita di chi riceve cure da parte della sanità regionale".Â
