(Adnkronos) - E' stato siglato l'accordo tra Meteda, gruppo italiano specializzato nella creazione e sviluppo di soluzioni innovative e tecnologicamente avanzate nel campo del diabete, e la multinazionale americana Abbott. Prevede l'integrazione digitale tra il sistema MetaClinic, cartella clinica sviluppata dall'azienda italiana per la gestione ambulatoriale dei centri di diabetologia, e i dati raccolti dal sistema Abbott FreeStyle Libre, tecnologia per il monitoraggio del glucosio con sensori leader a livello mondiale. Grazie a tale integrazione - informa una nota - sarà possibile effettuare lo scarico dei dati glicemici dal sistema FreeStyle Libre direttamente nella cartella clinica informatizzata in uso presso i servizi di diabetologia. Il sistema consentirà infatti al medico di invitare la persona con diabete a condividere, con la cartella clinica informatizzata MetaClinic, i dati glicemici rilevati dai dispositivi Abbott. Il tutto, naturalmente, in ottemperanza ai criteri normativi e tecnologici più rigorosi in materia di privacy e tutela dei dati personali e clinici.Â
Il sistema - si legge - mette il diabetologo nella condizione di disporre, ogni qualvolta ve ne sia esigenza clinica, di importanti informazioni, in un contesto idoneo alla valutazione complessiva dello stato di salute, integrando il dato glicemico con il profilo clinico e la storia clinico-terapeutica di ogni singola persona con diabete, contenuti nella cartella clinica diabetologica.
