(Adnkronos) - “Oggi parliamo dell’atto due del nostro piano ‘Act for food', lanciato nel 2018. Il rilancio di ‘Act for food’ vede una differenza rispetto al passato: rimettiamo il gusto al centro di tutto, con un’attenzione particolare al prezzo. Una ricerca di SWG ha mostrato infatti che il gusto è il primo driver delle scelte delle famiglie italiane quando fanno la spesa, ma anche il prezzo rimane un elemento cruciale della scelta dei nostri clienti e dei consumatori italiani. Mettiamo gusto e prezzo al centro, è questa la ragione per la quale abbiamo sviluppato il nuovo logo, dove parliamo di ‘meglio per te’ sotto entrambi i punti di vista”. Così Christophe Rabatel, amministratore delegato di Carrefour Italia, a margine della presentazione del piano di rilancio di ‘Act For Food’, con l’obiettivo di promuovere l’accesso a un’alimentazione di qualità e rispettosa dell’ambiente, attraverso percorsi concreti.
Durante l’evento è stata presentata anche una ricerca SWG che indaga il legame tra gusto, sostenibilità e accessibilità nelle scelte d’acquisto dei consumatori italiani, come ha sottolineato Rabatel: “Nella prima fase di ‘Act for food’ avevamo lavorato molto su una produzione di qualità, su come trasformare il nostro settore e come collaborare meglio con i nostri fornitori, anche locali, per dare un cibo di qualità sempre migliore ad un prezzo accessibile. Anche in questa seconda fase del progetto rimane fondamentale la sostenibilità dei prodotti. Siamo infatti un’azienda molto responsabile - spiega l’ad di Carrefour Italia - Siamo diventati il primo player della Gdo a livello nazionale a diventare società benefit a giugno 2023 e quest’anno abbiamo emesso la relazione di impatto per mostrare tutti gli impegni presi, le azioni concrete messe in campo e i risultati raggiunti”.
“Il rilancio di ‘Act for food’ va ad aiutarci a spingere di più questa strategia vincente, nel cuore della quale troviamo la nostra gamma biologica ‘Carrefour Bio’, con prodotti di qualità per la nostra salute, quella delle nostre famiglie e la salute del pianeta. A livello Gruppo - conclude Rabatel - abbiamo l’ambizione di portare le vendite a 8 miliardi di euro di prodotti certificati entro fine 2026 e il pilastro principale sono i prodotti biologici”.
