Squadre di operai dell'AMAP sono intervenute ieri, congiuntamente con i militari del Genio Guastatori dell'Esercito, nella zona di Piazza Peranni (lo storico Mercato delle Pulci) e aree limitrofe, a seguito della esondazione del fiume Papireto, si è fornito supporto per la verifica della situazione e per valutare la necessità di interventi urgenti utili a scongiurare situazioni di pericolo immediato per la popolazione.
Oggi invece sarà avviata un'attività di ispezione sotterranea nelle aree e strutture di competenza dell'AMAP a valle del punto di esondazione del fiume, al fine di valutare se le stesse strutture abbiano subito dei danni.
"Le nostre squadre di pronto intervento - afferma l'Amministratore Unico di AMAP Alessandro Di Martino - già allertate come di consueto in presenza di preavviso di rischio idrogeologico da parte della Protezione Civile, ieri sera e oggi si sono rese immediatamente disponibili agli interventi richiesti dall'Esercito.
Ovviamente, qualora da parte della Regione o delle sue strutture operative dovessero giungere ulteriori richieste di supporto, faremo tutto quanto possibilie per ridurre i disagi per i cittadini ed eliminare condizioni di pericolo, nello spirito di servizio alla comunità che anima l'azione dell'azienda."
