“Abbiamo manifestato all’Amministrazione comunale di Palermo tutte le nostre preoccupazioni sul futuro della Rap: bisogna potenziare il personale, il parco mezzi e accelerare la costruzione della settima vasca di Bellolampo per evitare l’ennesima emergenza alla città”. Lo dicono Giuseppe Badagliacca e Felice Cuffaro di Fiadel-Cisal a margine dell’incontro fra il sindaco di Palermo Roberto Lagalla, l’assessore all’Ambiente Andrea Mineo, i vertici di Rap e le organizzazioni sindacali.
“Il sindaco ha espresso alcune riserve sul servizio svolto e assicurato nuovi investimenti grazie al Pnrr, oltre al costante dialogo con la Regione per Bellolampo – dicono Badagliacca e Cuffaro – Siamo soddisfatti, ma non possiamo non segnalare che per assicurare i servizi la Rap ha bisogno di nuove assunzioni per tutte le categorie, dagli operai ai dirigenti, di valorizzare il personale interno con le progressioni e di investimenti su mezzi e strumenti. Bene la lotta all’evasione Tari, su cui il Comune sta realizzando importanti progressi, a cui è necessario affiancare però una seria discussione sul futuro di questa azienda nell’ambito del contratto di servizio. La Rap deve essere messa nelle condizioni di poter funzionare al meglio, a beneficio dei lavoratori e di tutti i palermitani”.
