Il sindaco Leoluca Orlando ha incontrato stamani, a Villa Niscemi, l’Ambasciatrice della Repubblica di Polonia in Italia, Anna Maria Anders.
L'ambasciatrice è giunta a Palermo appositamente per consegnare al sindaco il "BENE MERITO", un attestato di benemerenza conferitogli dal ministro degli Esteri della Repubblica di Polonia.
"All'ambasciatrice - ha dichiarato Orlando - ho espresso la mia gratitudine per l'attenzione riservata a Palermo, a conferma dell'importante internazionalizzazione della città che, grazie anche alla presenza della comunità polacca, arricchisce il suo mosaico di culture. Accanto agli scambi culturali e turistici di grande rilievo sono state esaminate altre forme di collaborazioni tra la realtà palermitana e quella polacca".
