"Da qualche giorno è stato riaperto il tratto di strada che immette da piazza Castelnuovo a via Ruggero Settimo, ma in maniera inspiegabile la strada non è stata ancora riaperta alle auto. Dopo mesi di attesa, per via dei cantieri attivi, la riapertura del transito veicolare dal Politeama fino al Massimo permetterebbe un alleggerimento notevole del traffico di quella zona, e delle zone limitrofe come via Stabile, via Volturno e via Cavour. Traffico che ha raggiunto picchi incredibili, con conseguenti livelli di inquinamento che non osiamo neanche immaginare. Chiediamo che Giusto Catania riapra immediatamente alle auto, visto che ci tiene così tanto alla qualità dell'aria da avere mantenuta attiva fino ad oggi una ztl che non ha alcun senso. Vorremmo evitare altre beffe per i palermitani. Certo il buon senso avrebbe dovuto portare Giusto Catania ad alleggerire subito il traffico di quella zona e riaprire subito la strada. Ma siccome non ci ha pensato lui da solo glielo suggeriamo noi".
