"Nonostante le pressanti segnalazioni inoltrate da questa Associazione per denunciare la costante violazione del divieto di sedersi sui marmi della fontana di Piazza Pretoria, dobbiamo con rammarico segnalare che continua tutto come prima.
Oggi c'erano bambini in piedi sulla balaustra (!) e tanti turisti tranquillamente seduti proprio davanti all'ingresso del Palazzo delle Aquile, incuranti dei divieti e della presenza della Polizia Municipale."
"Reiteriamo la richiesta di mettere in atto quanto necessario per salvaguardare la Fontana, che presenta parecchie criticità e merita di essere custodita, essendo uno dei tesori più prestigiosi della nostra città. A nostro sommesso parere sarebbe opportuno , governare il flusso dei turisti che accede dentro il perimetro della fontana, con la presenza di personale qualificato che spieghi il valore del monumento ed il senso del divieto di sedersi, applicando, se ritenuto opportuno, anche delle sanzioni in caso di trasgressione al divieto."
Così nella nota il Presidente dell'Associazione Comitati Civici Palermo, Giovanni Moncada.
