“Il laghetto all'interno del giardino di piazza Niscemi è uno stagno bollente, saturo di miasmi e quasi ormai privo di forme di vita. Scomparsi i pesci, i girini, le idrometre, le libellule, forse perfino le zanzare: un luogo di morte.
Tutti i lavori (!?) eseguiti negli anni sono stati veri e propri palliativi, le foto lo dimostrano in modo inconfutabile”.
Così nella nota il Presidente dell'Associazione Comitati Civici Palermo, Giovanni Moncada.
