"Apprendiamo la notizia della mappatura per le potature urgenti nelle otto circoscrizioni. Più volte abbiamo denunciato la criticità degli alberi in Viale Dei Picciotti, dove è fondamentale sottolineare che sono presenti ben sei scuole e dove le radici hanno divelto buona parte dei marciapiedi mettendo in pericolo l'incolumità degli alunni e dei cittadini. Da attenzionare anche Via Panzera e Via Hassan.
Inoltre l'illuminazione pubblica è insufficiente a causa delle fronde voluminose degli alberi.
Ci auguriamo che i tecnici prendano in considerazione a 360 gradi la tematica sulla sicurezza e parallelamente mettere in campo tutte le cure necessarie nel salvare il nostro patrimonio arboreo.
Restiamo in attesa di ulteriori investimenti sul verde cittadino, fiduciosi che finalmente possano essere potati tutti gli alberi della Circoscrizione, specialmente quelli vicini a luoghi sensibili come scuole, Ospedali e Parrocchie per così scongiurare qualsiasi genere di situazione spiacevole", dichiarano i consiglieri della II circoscrizione del M5S Pasquale Tusa e Emanuela Lo Nardo.
