Si presenta sabato 27 agosto 2022 alle ore 17,30 il libro di Marco Spada “Dal Niceto al Nilo. Storia di una prigionia in terra d’Africa”. Dopo i saluti del Sac. Carmelo Lipari e l’introduzione del Sindaco Avv. Giuseppe Nobile, del Presidente di BCsicilia Dott. Giuseppe Iudicello e dell’Assessore alla cultura Ins. Graziella Sacco, sono previsti gl interventi dell’Ins. Maria Rita Sacco e del Dott. Marco Spada. L’iniziativa che si tiene nella Collinetta SS Salvatore adiacente al Labirinto di Arianna Castel di Lucio è promossa dal Comune di Castel di Lucio e da BCsicilia.
Il libro che racconta la biografia da militare e da prigioniero di Giuseppe Sgrò, abitante di San Pier Niceto, e fa rivivere la tragedia dei campi di concentramento inglesi vissuta da un fante ventenne di San Pier Niceto. Scritto dal dott. Marco Spada e pubblicato dal la casa editrice Morrone. Le conclusioni saranno dell'avv. Francesca Pitrone, ex vicesindaco di San Pier Niceto.
