"La mia presenza a New York a un anno dall’aggressione della Russia all’Ucraina è un chiaro segnale di sostegno al ruolo che l’Onu sta avendo in questa crisi, sia con la condanna dell’aggressione russa da parte dell’Assemblea Generale, sia attraverso l’azione del Segretario Generale Guterres per l’accordo sull’esportazione di grano dal Mar Nero". È quanto afferma il vice premier e ministro degli Esteri Antonio Tajani, atteso all'Onu in occasione del primo anniversario dell'invasione russa dell'Ucraina, in un'intervista a “La Voce di New York”.
In merito alle recenti dichiarazioni dell'ex premier e leader di Forza Italia, Silvio Berlusconi, Tajani afferma: "Il governo ha una posizione molto chiara sul conflitto in Ucraina. E Berlusconi è un uomo di pace che da sempre sta dalla parte dell’Occidente, della Nato e degli Stati Uniti. Lo dimostrano i fatti concreti. Tutta Forza Italia ha sempre votato alla stessa maniera. Si tratta di capire quale strada bisogna percorrere per ottenere una pace giusta, che garantisca l’indipendenza dell’Ucraina".
