Domani, sabato 4 aprile, alle 11.30, Coldiretti Palermo donerà alla Missione Speranza e Carità di Biagio Conte la “spesa sospesa” dei produttori Campagna Amica. Si tratta di un’iniziativa nazionale che vede anche la Sicilia in prima fila nell’offerta di cibo di qualità. Farina, ortofrutta, formaggi, miele sono alcuni dei prodotti che saranno portati nella sede di Via Tiro a Segno dalla presidente Valentina Dara Guccione.
“E’ importante che in questo momento la solidarietà abbracci tutti anche con prodotti come quelli dei nostri agricoltori - sottolinea Valentina Dara Guccione - perché mangiare bene, in modo sano, in modo genuino, è un diritto. Questo il messaggio che vogliamo condividere e che ci rende orgogliosi di contribuire ad alleviare alcuni problemi di chi in questo momento è solo”.
Per Riccardo Rossi, portavoce della Missione, “ogni gesto è prezioso e tutti insieme possiamo cambiare il mondo. Per sconfiggere questa crisi economica dovuta al coronavirus, dobbiamo cooperare tutti: associazioni, imprese, mercati di vendita diretta, istituzioni, chiesa, persone di buona volontà. Questo tempo di Quaresima può e deve diventare momento di conversione per aiutarci l’uno con l’altro”.
